I found this car in Hemmings, 1996, and purchased it because it was the same model of the car that my parents bought me when I graduated from college in 1964 and because it had been professionally restored. The odometer read 29,730 miles when I registered it in New Mexico; it now reads 37, 361, which means it has been driven, on average, less than 400 miles per year. At a Vintage Motor Car Club or America Rally soon after I bought the car it received a Silver Award.
The last 15 years it has been driven primarily the proverbial Only on Sunday to and from church, weather permitting. It has been garaged and regularly maintained since I bought it.
In the last year I have replaced a fuel pump, water pump, and assorted gaskets.
This car has a 269 V-8 engine. In the last year I have replaced a fuel pump, water pump, and various engine gaskets.
